Hold onto your woolly hats, folks—snow season is nearly upon us, and I’m gearing up for something a little different this winter! I’m looking into offering small-group or private ski instruction for anyone keen to hit the slopes with a bit more style (or at least fewer wipeouts). Whether you’re a total beginner still figuring out which end of the skis goes forward or someone who just wants to sharpen their turns, I’ll be here to help you carve your way to glory—or at least not land in the car park. More details to follow.
But wait, there’s more! I’m also planning a cheeky wee Coastal Peak outing up north for a day of sliding, laughter, and probably a bit of après-ski banter. Think of it as a social adventure with like-minded folks who share a love for fitness and fresh powder. If you’re up for a day of snow-filled shenanigans and a good laugh, let me know—we’ll make it an epic day out, even if we end up more *sled* than shred!
Scotland’s ski slopes: where stunning views and snowy adventures await—plus the occasional heather-hopping detour! These photos capture the charm of skiing in our wee country, from carving turns to navigating the quirks of a good Scottish winter. Who needs the Alps when you’ve got snow, scenery, and a bit of humor on the hills? Wrap up and enjoy!
Strap on your skis we're off to Glencoe for some spring snow chasing! Think of it as a treasure hunt, but instead of gold, we’re tracking down the last stubborn patches of snow. It’s all about the adventure, the banter, and squeezing every last drop out of ski season before the snow says, *'That’s all, folks!'*"
Perfect winter conditions on Carn Aosda —crisp snow, epic runs, and a sunset that lit up the mountains. A day that reminded us why skiing in Scotland on a good day absolutely fandabeedozeee!
Ski touring in Dunbar—aye, you heard right! Where else can you carve turns past sand dunes and get heckled by seagulls mid-descent? Snow on the beach, a bracing sea breeze, and a few baffled dog walkers—it’s peak Scottish madness and absolutely brilliant."
Flying down Doonhill near Dunbar, where the only thing older than the snow is the ancient settlement at the top! Skiing, sheep dodging, and pretending you're a Highland warrior—who knew history could be this much of a laugh?
Ever fancied a solo ski tour after work? Well, that’s exactly what I did at Portmore Loch in the Lammermuirs! A quiet evening on the snow, sunset over the loch, and no one to talk to but my skis. If you’re into peace, quiet, and a bit of post-work escapism, this is your kind of adventure!
Three days in Glencoe: snow, wind, and visibility that played hide and seek! From sunny spells to whiteout madness, we skied through it all—and still had a blast. Who needs perfect weather when you've got 100% fun and 0% sense?
Not much downhill but a lovely sunset and a wee bit of a slide. All is fair in skiing and snow.
Mud skiing, heather hopping, and short-turn efficiency were the real game changers. Who needs perfect snow when you've got a thick layer of bog to ski through? We carved turns through mud, dodged heather like it was an Olympic event, and still claimed victory... mostly for the most destroyed ski bases.
My buddy Aleisha and her quick Climate Change short from a few years ago.
Join me for a cheeky slide at Cairngorm. Perfect snow, questionable decisions..If you like snow, laughs, and a bit of chaos, this one's for you!
A season of ski adventures across the Alps and Scotland—where the views were epic, the laughs were endless, and the fun was non-stop. It all wrapped up with 18 months on crutches, but at least I’ve got some cracking stories to show for it! Sit back, enjoy the madness, and remember: it's all part of the adventure!"
